IT was an entreprenuer's idea grown into a scalable contract design/build solution for large furniture maker/retailers such as Ashley. So successful was their operation they were ready for investors and a next phase of growth .. but they'd never focused on their brand. I was a brand advisor, CD and part of a team ready to help them look as successful as they were. My functional role in the following work is strategic creative messaging, design approach and direction, all copywriting, art direction and helping to build their website. Identity, Chris Cureton; animation, Ron Edelen.
We took the new identity to business cards and email, and to ramp up prospecting interest we found a mailable, can't-throw-away sales gift to break the ice. These are handmade wooden mobile phone speakers. The medium ties in nicely to IT's stock in trade and matches their quality attribute. We created a belly band with copy to reinforce our proposition to improve your bottom line by contracting with Industrial Timber. These acoustic speakers are fairly costly, as is the shipping, however, with IT's prospect base being the largest furniture manufacturers in the US, our distro was down to maybe 100. I thought these turned out nicely and is a great case for doing highly targeted, premium direct mail.
