Upon joining this global employer brand account I led the effort to take their strategic platform and flesh it out into a complete EVP and toolkit. I also helped them bring the Global TA messages and Merck's corporate brand look into their new Phenom People implementation. In the 5 years after that work, I helped as a CD and copywriter, sometimes designer as well, in every corner of need, from program communications and promotions for DEI, skills-first hiring and graduate/campus, to targeted landing pages and campaigns for just about every location and plant, and every key hiring area (TVPs).
The TVP work (talent value proposition) commenced with insights research into each hiring area's personas to understand motivations, then crafting bespoke message platforms and targeted campaigns. Media typically would include paid social channel ads, organic social channel content, programmatic advertising, omni-channel video, marketing landing pages on Phenom, and support for recruiting such as interview guides and job descriptions.
Below: While Merck is the brand name in North America, MSD is the brand elsewhere in the world. Assets that served both were routinely duplicated, with many language translations, but often there were regional needs, or even facility focused efforts, such as onboarding in Switzerland, or manufacturing jobs in Wilson, North Carolina, USA, or accounting roles in the New York City area.
I helped both global talent acquisition group with planning and writing a number of communications, including recruitment tools such as this virtual interview guide. Below: social videos for the Human Health division, which was one of several divisions with unique proposition pillars to guide messaging. I led pillar development and articulation of creative messages for all divisions.
